1-2 Praise be to Allah, who created you from clay.
6 We destroyed many generations. Then we created another generation.
7 If we'd have sent you (Muhammad) actual writing on parchment, people would have said it was magic.
12 Those who ruin their own souls will not believe.
25 We have made it impossible for them to believe by closing their hearts and ears.
27 Disbelievers will say when they see the Fire that they would have believed if they had known the truth. 28 But they are liars.
33 Evildoers flout the revelations of Allah.
35 If Allah wanted, he could have made everyone a Muslim.
38 Animals are people too.
39 Those who deny Allah's revelations are deaf and dumb. Allah will send them astray.
42 We sent people troubles and tribulations to make them humble. 43 But their hearts were hardened and the devil made them think what they did was fair. 44 Then, just when they thought everything was OK, we surprised them, and they were dumbfounded. 45 And we cut them off.
49 We will torment those who reject our revelations.
68 Stay away from those who "meddle with" or mock our revelations. And if the devil makes you forget, don't sit with them after you remember.
70 Those who consider their religion to be a pastime and a joke will be forced to drink boiling water in a painful doom.
75 Remember when Abraham said to his father Azar, “Do you have idols for gods?” 76 One night, Abraham saw a star and said, "This is my Lord." But when it set, he said, "I don't love things that set." 78 When he saw the moon rising, he said, "This is my Lord." But when it set, he said, "Unless my Lord guides me, I'll go astray." 79 When he saw the sun rise, he said, "This is my Lord." But when it set, he said, “O my people! I'm free of everything you associate with him. 80 I've turned my face toward him who created the heavens and the earth. I'm not an idolater.”
85 We chose and guided Noah, David, Elisha, and Lot on good and righteous paths. 87-88 We preferred them to all of our other creatures.
93 The Quran is a blessed scripture that we have revealed.
94 The worst thing anyone can do is to say, "I am inspired" when they are not inspired.” When wrong doers die the angels will say to them, “Today you are awarded the doom of degradation.”
95 Allah makes dead people live and live people dead. How perverted are you, anyway?
98 He created the stars for navigation. 99 And he created humans from a single being.
101 They say the jinn are Allah's partners, but Allah created the jinn, and they say that Allah has sons and daughters. 102 Allah is the creator of the heavens and earth. How could he have a child?
111 We confound the hearts and eyes of unbelievers. Then we let them wander around blindly. 112 Most of them are ignorant.
113 We appointed a human devil and/or a jinn to be the adversary of each prophet.
114 Allah allows some to disbelieve in the afterlife, and to take pleasure in their disbelief, so that he can torment them forever after they die.
116 The Quran is perfect. Nothing can change it.
126 Allah chooses to lead some astray, and he lays ignominy on those who disbelieve.
129 Allah will assemble the jinn and say to them, “You have led many humans astray.” Then he'll say to the humans who were led astray by the jinn, “Fire is your home. Live there forever.”
131 The jinn were disbelievers.
138 Let the idolaters kill their children. It is Allah's will.
146 You may eat anything except carrion, blood, pigs, or animals sacrificed to other gods.
150 Allah could have guided everyone, but he chose not to.
152 Be good to your children. Don't kill them.
153 Don't steal from orphans. Don't cheat or lie.
158 The worst thing anyone can do is deny the revelations of Allah. Those who do so will be awarded an evil doom.
160 Stay away from those who divide religion into different sects.
