3 What not to eat: carrion, blood, pigs, animals sacrificed to gods other than Allah, animals that were strangled, beat to death, jumped off a cliff, fell from the sky, or were killed by other animals. Fear me! I have perfected and chosen the Islam religion for you.
5 Those who deny Islam will be losers in the Hereafter.
6 When it's time to pray, and you have just used the toilet or touched a woman, be sure to wash up. If you can't find any water, just rub some dirt on yourself.
8 Don't hate other people. Treat everyone fairly.
10 Those who disbelieve and deny our revelations will go to hell.
12 We have cursed the Jews and hardened their hearts. 13 Nearly all of them are treacherous. 14 We have stirred up enmity and hatred among Christians.
15 O people of the Scripture! Our messenger [Muhammad] has explained what you have hidden in the scriptures.
17 Christians are disbelievers for saying that Allah is the Messiah, the son of Mary. If Allah wanted he could kill Jesus, Mary, and everyone on earth. He can do whatever he wants.
27 Adam had two sons. Each offered a sacrifice, but Allah only accepted one of them. So the other said, "I'm going to kill you." 29 And the other one said, "You'll go to hell if you do." 30 So he killed his brother (and became one of the losers). 31 Then Allah sent a raven to show him how to hide his brother's naked corpse.
32 We decreed to the Jews that whoever kills a human (except for manslaughter or corruption), it is as though they had killed every human. And whoever saves a life, it is as though they saved every human.
33 Those who make war upon Allah and his messenger (Muhammad) will be killed, crucified, have their hand and foot on opposite sides amputated, or be expelled from the land. That's what they'll get in this life. Then they'll suffer an awful doom.
36-7 Disbelievers will have a painful doom. They'll want to come out of the Fire, but will not. Theirs will be a lasting doom.
38 As for thieves, both male and female, cut off their hands. It's an exemplary punishment from Allah.
40 Allah punishes and forgives whoever he wants. He can do anything.
41 Allah makes some people sin. He will not cleanse their hearts, and no one can help them. They will have ignominy in this world, and in the Hereafter an awful doom.
45 Life for life, eye for eye, nose for nose, ear for ear, tooth for tooth. If you disagree with Allah about that, you are a wrong doer.
51 Don't be friends with Christians or Jews. If you do, you're one of them. 53 The people of the Scripture have become the losers.
54 Allah could replace nonbelievers with believers who would love him and do whatever he says.
55 Your only friends should be Allah, his messenger (Muhammad), and those who believe correctly (Muslims). 56 The party of Allah, they are the victorious. 57 Don't be friends with Jews, Christians, or disbelievers. They make fun of your religion.
59 Oh people of the scripture, most of you are evil livers.
60 Allah has turned some (Christians and Jews?) into apes and swine.
63 Evil is the handiwork of rabbis and priests.
64 We have cast hatred among the Jews until the day of resurrection.
67 Allah doesn't guide disbelievers.
69 Jews, Sabaeans, and Christians who believe in Allah shouldn't worry about the last day.
70 The Jews rejected and killed Allah's prophets, since "they were willfully blind and deaf."
72 Some disbelievers say, "Allah is the Messiah, the son of Mary." But whoever ascribes partners to Allah will live in the fire. No one will help them.
73 Some say that Allah is the third of three. If they don't stop saying that a painful doom will fall on them.
80 Muslims that make friends with disbelievers will face a doom prepared for them by Allah. 81 If they were true Muslims, they wouldn't choose them for friends. But many of them are of evil conduct.
82 The Jews are most vehement in their hostility to Muslims. Christians tend to view Muslims more favorably.
86 Those who deny our revelations will be the owners of hellfire.
89 If you've sworn an oath in earnest, you can make up for it by feeding or clothing ten poor people or setting a slave free.
90 Drinking alcohol and gambling are not permitted. 91 They are tools of Satan to keep believers from proper worship.
92 Obey Allah and the messenger (Muhammad).
94 Be careful what you eat. Those who eat the wrong things will have a painful doom.
Allah has designated the Ka'bah, the Sacred House, and the Sacred Month as a standard for humans.
101 Believers shouldn't ask too many questions. (Honest answers will cause them to lose their faith.) 102 Some people asked a lot of questions. Then they lost their faith.
110 Jesus, remember when you spoke like an adult when you were in the cradle?
And when you made a bird out of clay that became a living bird when you blew on it?
And remember how I protected you so the Jews didn't harm you?
111 And when I inspired the disciples to say, "We are Muslims."
112 Jesus's disciples asked Jesus to send a table of food down from heaven. And he delivered. 115 Then Allah warned the disciples that they will catch holy hell if they ever stop believing.
116 And Jesus, did you ever say, “My mother and I are gods like Allah”?
