- Be meek.

- Take up your cross.
He that taketh not his cross ... is not worthy of me.

- Don't take the best seats.
(The people with the best seats will receive the greastest damnation.)
The scribes and the Pharisees ... love the uppermost rooms at feasts, and the chief seats in the synagogues. Matthew 23:2-6
Beware of the scribes, which love ... the chief seats in the synagogues, and the uppermost rooms at feasts ... these shall receive greater damnation.
Beware of the scribes which desire ... the highest seats in the synagogues, and the chief rooms at feasts ... the same shall receive greater damnation.
- Don't love being greeted in the marketplace.
(People who like being greeted in the marketplace will receive greater damnation.)
The scribes and the Pharisees ... do not ye after their works ... And love ... greetings in the markets. Matthew 23:2-7

- Take in strangers.
Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you
from the foundation of the world: For ... I was a stranger, and ye took me in.
- Baptize everyone in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost.
Go ye therefore, ... baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost.
- Believe the gospel.
Jesus came into Galilee, ... saying, ... believe the gospel. Mark 1:14-15
- Listen carefully.

- Don't stop non-Christians from casting out devils in Jesus's name.
Master, we saw one casting out devils in thy name, and he followeth not us: and we forbad him, because he followeth not us.
But Jesus said, Forbid him not: for there is no man which shall do a miracle in my name, that can lightly speak evil of me.
- Give a cup of water in Jesus's name to a Christian.
(You won't lose your reward.)
Whosoever shall give you a cup of water to drink in my name, because ye belong to Christ, verily I say unto you, he shall not lose his

- Don't devour widows' houses.
Beware of the scribes ... Which devour widows' houses ... these shall receive greater damnation.

- Don't laugh.
Woe unto you that laugh now! for ye shall mourn and weep. Luke 6:25
- Don't let anyone say nice things about you.
Woe unto you, when all men shall speak well of you! for so did their fathers to the false prophets.
- Hear the word of God and do it.
And you can become Jesus's mother or brother.
My mother and my brethren are these which hear the word of God, and do it.
- Beware of covetousness.
