The Lord (Jesus) says these verses refer to himself. But when did he smite the earth with the rod of his mouth or kill people with his breath? I think the Lord is confused about his own identity.
Although Jesus clearly doesn't know the answer to this question, the Mormons tell us that he meant to say "Joseph Smith is the stem of Jesse."
Once again, the Lord rambles on, repeating his previous non-answer.
