1 Spring Hill is named by the Lord Adam-ondi-Ahman, because, said he, it is the place where Adam shall come to visit his people, or the Ancient of Days shall sit, as spoken of by Daniel the prophet.
These things [the Book of Mormon] are true and according to the revelations of John, neither adding to, nor diminishing from the prophecy of his book, the holy scriptures. 20:35
Trivia: Who was filled with ther Holy Ghost in his mother's womb, was ordained by an angel when he was eight years old, and baptized when he was a child?
116:11 Spring Hill is named by the Lord Adam-ondi-Ahman, because, said he, it is the place where Adam shall come to visit his people, or the Ancient of Days shall sit, as spoken of by Daniel the prophet.
The Lord named Spring Hill "Adam-ondi-Ahman" [1] because it's the place Adam will visite his people - or, as Daniel called him, the Ancient of Days. [2]
Adam-ondi-Ahman is about five miles south of Jameson, Missouri in Daviess County. It is where Adam and Eve lived after they were expelled from the Garden of Eden (which is in nearby Jackson County).
The "Ancient of Days" is mentioned several times in chapter 7 of the book of Daniel (), and is considered by nearly all Bible believers refer to God. But the LDS church believes that they're wrong about that. It actually refers to Adam, who Mormons say is also the Archangel Michael.
