1 Ha. Mim. 4 No one argues about Allah's revelations except for disbelievers.
5 Everyone since the time of Noah seized the messenger and argued falsely. So I [Allah] seized them and gave them an awful punishment.
6 Disbelievers are the owners of the fire.
101Allah hates disbelievers even more than disbelievers hate each other.
11 The disbelievers say, “You killed us twice and made us live twice.” 12Then someone will say to them, “This is because you disbelieved in Allah, while believing that he has a partner.”
18 When the doom comes, the hearts of the doomed will choke in their throats, and no one will help them. 21 Allah seized the disbelievers. They had no protector from Allah. 22 He is strong, severe in punishment.
23-25 We [Allah] sent Moses to Pharaoh, Haman, and Korah, but they said, “He is a lying sorcerer. Kill the sons of the believers but spare the women.”
26 Pharaoh said, “Let me kill Moses. He's corrupting your religion.”
28 A believer in Pharaoh's household said,
Are you going to kill him just for believing in Allah?
31 Allah will kill you just like he did to Noah's folk, the tribes of A'ad and Thamud, and others after them.
33 When Allah sends someone astray, there's no one to guide them. 34 Allah deceives those who doubt.
36-37 The Pharaoh said to Haman, “Build a tower so I can see the God of Moses - though I think he's a liar.”
38 The believer said,
41 Why do you call me into the Fire?
42 You tell me to disbelieve and to ascribe partners of Allah.
43 The prodigals will be owners of the fire.
45 So Allah warded off the evils from the believer, while a dreadful doom fell on Pharaoh and his people.
46 They are exposed to the fire morning and evening. It is the most awful doom. 47 While burning in the fire, they argue about who is to blame.
49 Those in the fire say to the guards of hell, “Ask your Lord to relieve us for a day from the torment.”
50 But the guards say, “Didn't the messengers come to you with clear proofs? The prayer of a disbeliever is in vain.”
51 We help our messengers and those who believe. 56 Those who argue about Allah's revelations are filled with pride. 60 Those who scorn my service will go to hell. 63 Those who deny Allah's revelations are perverted.
67 Allah created you from dust, then a drop of seed, and then a clot.
70-72 Those who deny the scripture will come to know when they have shackles on their necks, and are dragged through boiling water, and then are thrust into the fire.
73 Then someone will say to them, “Where are all of Allah's partners?”
74 And they'll say, “They have failed us.” Thus does Allah lead astray the disbelievers. 76 Enter the gates of hell. Evil is where the scornful live.
84 When the disbelievers saw our doom, they said, "We believe in Allah only." 85 But their faith did them no good when they saw our doom. The disbelievers will be ruined.
1 Ha. Him. 3 A lecture in Arabic for people with knowledge.
6-7/sup> Woe to the idolaters who don't believe in the hereafter.
9 Say this to the idolaters, “Do you disbelieve in him who created the earth in two days? Do you believe that he has rivals?”
10 He [Allah] put the hills in place in four days. 11 He said to heaven (when it was smoke) and to the earth, “Come willingly or not.” They said, "We're coming."
12 Then we [Allah] made the seven heavens in two days and decked the nether heaven with lamps.
13 If they turn away, say, “A thunderbolt will destroy you like it did the tribes of A'ad and Thamud.” 15 They denied our [Allah's] revelations.
16-17 We let loose a raging wind in evil days. The doom of the hereafter will be even worse. And they won't be helped. As for Thamud, we gave them guidance, but they rejected it. So the doom of humiliation overtook them.
19 The enemies of Allah will be driven into the fire. 20 When they reach it, their ears, eyes, and skins will testify against them. 21 And they'll say to their skins, “Why are you testifying against us?”
24 The fire is their home. And they won't be given any favors.
26 The disbelievers say. “Reject the Quran and don’t listen to it.”
27 But we'll cause them to taste an awful doom. 28 That's the reward for Allah's enemies: the fire. That will be their permanent home. It's their payment for denying our revelations.
29 The disbelievers will say, “Show us the people and jinn who led us astray and we'll put them under our feet.”
34 Good and evil are not alike. Repel evil with goodness. That way your enemies will become your friends.
40 Those who distort our revelations aren't hid from us. We know who they are and we'll hurl them into the fire. 50 We'll make the disbelievers taste hard punishment.
