Oh God, another barren woman! It's always the woman's fault in the Bible. 1:7

Even Mary had to be "purified" after giving birth to Jesus. Was she defiled by giving birth to the Son of God? 2:22

Males are holy to God, not females. 2:23

Peter, James, and John leave everything (including their families) to follow Jesus. (See 4:38 for reference to Peter's wife.) 5:11

"A woman in the city, which was a sinner ... brought an alabaster box of ointment."7:37

Jesus alllows his feet to be anointed by a "sinful woman" at Simon the Pharisee's house. When Simon confronts him about it, Jesus responds by saying that "her sins, which are many, are forgiven, for she loved much."

Certain women ... ministered unto him of their substance. 8:2-3
Jesus and his disciples were supported financially by a group of women, who were important enough to be named (Mary Magdalene, Joanna, Susanna, and many others).

"My mother and my brethren are these which hear the word of God, and do it." 8:20-21

Jesus, when told that his mother and brothers want to see him, ignores and insults them by saying that his mother and brothers are those who hear the word of God and do it.

"And he said utto her, Daughter.... Luke 8:48

Jesus allows a woman who is considered unclean (Leviticus 15:19-33) to touch his clothes without complaint and then heals heals her. He even calls her "Daughter." She is, in fact, the only person in the gospels that he refers to in that way.

"Mary ... sat at Jesus' feet, and heard his word." Luke 10:39

Although Jesus seems to think the only thing that is necessary is to hear him speak, at least he is willing to speak to women and allow them to listen to him.

Blessed is the womb that bare thee, and the paps which thou hast sucked. But he said, Yea rather, blessed are they that hear the word of God, and keep it. 11:27-28
Jesus insults his mother (the Most Holy Blessed Virgin Mary).
Or maybe he didn't mean it as an insult. Maybe he was saying that a woman is more than just a baby-making, nursing machine. He might have thought well of his mom, but wouldn't call her womb or breasts blessed.

Abandon your wife and family for Jesus and he'll give you a big reward. 18:29-30
