Noah's Wife

The Bible vs the Quran

Noah's unnamed wife is mentioned five times in the Bible. Here's what it says about her.

She got on the ark.

But with thee [Noah] will I [God] establish my covenant; and thou shalt come into the ark, thou, and thy sons, and thy wife, and thy sons' wives with thee. Genesis 6:18

And Noah went in, and his sons, and his wife, and his sons' wives with him, into the ark, because of the waters of the flood. Genesis 7:7

In the selfsame day entered Noah, and Shem, and Ham, and Japheth, the sons of Noah, and Noah's wife, and the three wives of his sons with them, into the ark. Genesis 7:13

And she got off the ark.

Go forth of the ark, thou, and thy wife, and thy sons, and thy sons' wives with thee. Genesis 6:18

And Noah went forth, and his sons, and his wife, and his sons' wives with him: Genesis 8:18

The Quran disagrees. She didn't get on or off the ark. She drowned in the flood and then went to hell.

Allah citeth an example for those who disbelieve: the wife of Noah and the wife of Lot, who were under two of Our righteous slaves yet betrayed them so that they (the husbands) availed them naught against Allah and it was said (unto them): Enter the Fire along with those who enter. Quran 66:10
