He also had seven new sons and three new daughters (42:13)
Here a just a few questions that come to mind here:
Were these the same ten children that God and Satan killed in their bet?
Were they resurrected from the dead?
Did God create ten entirely new and different (better?) children from scratch?
Or were Job's new children created in the usual way, and if so, who was their mother?
What happened to Job's wife?
They were the prettiest women in all the land. (42:15)
They were also the inspiration for "Job's Daughters" - a Masonic organization for teenage girls, who dress up in robes and sing a song with these lyrics:
"Behold, behold, we are the daughters of Job.
Behold, behold, we are the daughters of Job,
The fairest, the fairest in all the land.”
Job lived 140 years. (42:22)
Job's lifespan was also doubled by God, according to Psalm 90:10
