The First Epistle General of John

1 God is light (1-6)

    Everyone sins (those who say they don't are liars) (7-10)

2 Light and darkness (1-17)

    There are many antichrists (so we know the end is near) (18-29)

3 We are the sons of God (1-5)

    Whoever belongs to God doesn't sin (6-10)

    Love one another (11-19)

    God gives us whatever we ask for (20-24)

4 Don't believe every spirit (there are a lot of antichrists out there) (1-6)

    God is love (7-21)

5 These three are one: Father, Word, and Holy Ghost (1-9)

    Without the Son, you're dead and God's a liar (10-15)

    There's a sin unto death (16-21)
