Doctrine & Covenants ( Section 43) : Absurdity (12)

  1. I [God] appointed him [Joseph Smith] to receive commandments and revelations from me. No one else will receive them from me. 43:2
  2. Only Joseph Smith can appoint someone to replace himself. 43:4
  3. So this is a law for you: Don't accept teachings, revelations, or commandments from anyone else. 43:5
  4. If you want glory, appoint and uphold Joseph Smith, Jun. 43:12
  5. And it you want the mysteries of the kingdom, give him [Joseph Smith] food, clothes, and whatever else he needs. 43:13
