How did Jeroboam die?

He died peacefully.

And the days which Jeroboam reigned were two and twenty years: and he slept with his fathers. 1 Kings 14;20

God killed him.

Neither did Jeroboam recover strength again in the days of Abijah: and the LORD struck him, and he died. 2 Chronicles 13:20
