The Bible vs the Quran
All the people brake off the golden earrings which were in their ears, and brought them unto Aaron. And he ... had made it a molten calf. Exodus 32:2-4
As-Samiri [a Samaritan] ... produced for them a calf, of saffron hue, which gave forth a lowing sound. Quran 20:85-88
In the biblical story, Aaron makes a golden calf while Moses is on Mount Sinai receiving the Ten Commandments. But in the Quran's version of the story, a Samaritan (Al-Samiri) is blamed for the calf instead of Aaron.
