  1. Allah sent Noah to the people, saying to him: "Warn the people of the painful doom that is coming to them."

    So Noah said to them: "I am a plain warner to you. Serve Allah and obey me." 71:1-3

  2. Noah said to Allah, "I've warned the people night and day. But it just adds to their repugnance. They stick their fingers in their ears and cover themselves with their clothes. 71:5-7
