1. God doesn't just get even. He drowns his enemies. 1:8

2. "Behold, I am against thee, saith the LORD of hosts, and I will burn her chariots." 2:13

3. "There is a multitude of slain, and a great number of carcasses; and there is none end of their corpses; they stumble upon their corpses." Now that's a lot of dead people. 3:3

4. God punished Nineveh by enslaving the people and smashing the little children in the streets. 3:10

5. God says that "the fire shall devour thee, the sword shall cut thee off, it shall eat thee up like the cankerworm." 3:15
